POLISHER- Polish and/or modify parts to print specifications.


  • Must be a team-player and actively support lean initiatives (continuous improvement) and The House of Excellence.
  • Polish and/or modify parts to print specifications
  • Use both manual and electronic measuring instruments.
  • Must be able to lift loaded die assemblies
  • Must be meticulous in maintaining a clean & neat work area
  • Inspect parts, troubleshoot and report any difficulties with development/tool issues immediately to supervisor.
  • Accurate reporting in ERP system (IFS) for current activities
  • Work collectively and collaboratively with the members of department, management and other departments to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Must meet all production requirements producing quality parts
  • Must follow all safety requirements; manufacturing environment requires hearing protection, safety glasses and steel toed shoes.


  • High School diploma required. 
  • Manufacturing/Tooling experience preferred.
  • Must successfully pass designated testing required for this position.
  • Must be able to work from verbal and written instructions, observation of conditions, production order schedules and blueprints.
  • Moderate to high level of math skills needed.
  • Experience with machine operation and set-up along with technical background/education

  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move 30-40 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities include: close/distance/ peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
