PROCESS ENGINEER- Designs and coordinated the transfer of new processes to manufacturing. Subject expert on material processing during the initial quote stages for a new part. Drives continual improvement efforts for reducing costs associated with cycle time and material selection.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support on-going production processing issues.
  • Support divisional continuous improvement process.
  • Research and recommend materials and technologies to drive manufacturing improvements.
  • Perform training requirements as needed.
  • Effectively troubleshoot processing concerns.
  • Understand and work within 5S principles when applicable.
  • Accurately and neatly maintain process documentation records.
  • Improve and/or develop process improvements to improve cycle times and reduce scrap.
  • Ability to work with robotic equipment
  • Process tools/materials following the Engineering Process Specifications (EPS) guidelines.
  • Strong ability to lead, communicate, and work effectively.
