SET-UP TECHNICIAN – Set up, cycle, and troubleshoot thermoplastic injection molding machines and all associated auxiliary equipment. Perform PM's and Daily Process Deviation Reports on all current "In Production" machines using the checklist provided by the Team Leader.
- Set up cycle in thermoplastic injection molding equipment and auxiliary as prioritized by the Shift Team Leader and follow master set up books and all company policies and procedures.
- Upon completion of set up, must verify that products are within the limits of the control plans. Able to perform 1st shot approvals using calipers, pin gages, go/no go gases.
- Document processing changes, adjustments, problems or other action taken in the process log for the tool. Immediately notify quality department for any possible dimensioning re-verification and visual criteria needed due to process changes.
